tony gonzalez-3-831x1024Anthony David Gonzalez, born on February 27, 1976 is an American football tightener who was a part of the National Football League (NFL) for 17 years. Gonzalez is considered to be one of the greatest tight ends in the world. Gonzalez holds the NFL's record for receiving yards and receptions as a tightener. He also ranks third overall in receptions. Gonzalez began his 12 seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs, who were the first team to select him in the round of the 1997 NFL Draft. In his five last seasons in the NFL, he played for the Atlanta Falcons. Gonzalez quit in 2013, is an analyst for NFL on Prime Video. Prior to that, he worked for CBS Sports, Fox Sports as well as Fox Sports. Gonzalez also was awarded six All-Pros. Gonzalez was known for his toughness and the ability to not lose a ball. He played in 272 of the 272 games in the regular season and only lost two fumbles, on 1,327 touches. Inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame In the year 2019.
